Dr. Kathy Passinault

Like most veterinarians, I had an interest in animals since I was a small child. After reading All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot, an English Veterinarian, I was sure that I wanted to choose veterinary medicine as a career.

I received my BS in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University in May 1989, and my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois in May 1992.

I joined Veterinary Medical Associates in 1992 and have enjoyed being part of this dynamic clinic ever since. Both the challenges of veterinary medicine and the relationships I am able to form with my patients and their two-legged companions are very rewarding.

I am currently working part-time which allows me time to enjoy with my family. My interests outside of my work include jogging, needlepoint, and working with the children's and women's ministry at my church.
